For the price, it was the perfect spot for me to take an impromptu trip to the Bay for a weekend. It had everything I need: helpful staff, comfortable bed, blackout curtains, a roomy little fridge, microwave, cable TV, a nearby protected parking spot, and respectful guests around me. A huge plus was they allowed me to have an hour-late check-out due to unforeseen circumstances. Bonus - I was lucky to get a nice view of the sunset from my room.

The room was a great value for the price--very clean and great small amenities (coffee maker in room, fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board). The hotel is located right in front of a bus stop that made it easy to get back and forth around Berkeley with plenty of solid dining options nearby.

When I arrived, there was an issue with the sink, but I let the front desk know and they promptly fixed it. I was impressed! The room was clean and the location was great-- walking distance to tons of restaurants and parks, and a bus stop right outside. Also, we unexpectedly got a discount because they aren't providing breakfast (due to Covid).

The location was close to dining, grocery shopping, and site seeing. Public transportation was more than adequate. The front desk was helpful and even provided me with a sewing kit to repair a garment.
